WHAT DO WE DO ?

We support organizations with experience in specific fields of sport, applied to people with disabilities.

Those two organizations, with great missions, are Special Olympics and Adaptive Surfing. Both promote inclusive sport.

HOW ?

We work together, supporting their work through our volunteers and therapists. We also train several athletes from the programs, with real competition objectives, in the most appropriate way thanks to our therapeutic and sports knowledge.

WHERE ?

Special Olympics has programs across the country. We support more specifically the Kayak groups in Turrialba, Quepos and Golfito.

Surf Adaptado is based in Jacó Beach, located in the central Pacific of Costa Rica. On some occasions we help in events in other beaches of the country.

HOW CAN YOU HELP ?

1. Train yourself in the different specialties, to improve your knowledge and put it into practice in your professional life.

2. Work together with teachers and therapists to care for people who attend training sessions.

3. Interact with users and apply your knowledge to improve performance, both in sports and in daily activities.

4. Provide talks and workshops to motivate and learn new skills that can be applied in their sports.

5. Attend organized events to help in their development and support athletes and users.

6. Manage and assist in the acquisition of sports equipment or technical aids for users or athletes.
